You don’t have to write a check to make a difference. You can now give to Cantata Singers directly from your donor-advised fund. Here are other tax-smart options that may boost your impact:

  • A qualified charitable distribution from your IRA for donors 70½ or older may reduce taxable income. If you are 73+, this can satisfy your Required Minimum Distribution and reduce taxable income—even if you don’t itemize deductions. Contact your IRA administrator for their QCD distribution form and information on the procedure to make such a gift.
