Cantata Singers is looking for volunteers for our Gala and Auction & Inaugural After-Party.

We are looking for 15-20 volunteers to help with our Gala and Auction & After-Party, held on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Liberty Hotel, Boston, MA. Volunteers will need to arrive at 4pm for orientation and help setting up. Dinner will be provided before the event begins at 6pm, where volunteers will help with registration, aiding during and with the closing of the Silent Auction, as well as during Dinner and the Live Auction. The After-Party begins at 9:30, and volunteers will aid with selling raffle tickets during this period, but will also have the opportunity to enjoy some dancing and dessert during this time. The event ends at 11:30pm, and volunteers can expect to be finished with clean-up around 12pm.

Energetic, happy to engage with attendees, able to lift ten pounds, and willing to take direction.
Applicants interested in arts administration are encouraged to apply!

Cantata Singers is grateful for the support of our volunteers who are vital in making this music happen, both onstage and off.

Concert volunteers help by ushering or selling merchandise. In exchange, they receive complimentary concert tickets. Every two years, Cantata Singers hosts an auction and dinner party in one of Boston's swankiest venues, and relies on volunteer support in everything from setting up silent auction displays to delivering gifts to the winning bidder. It's also possible to volunteer at Cantata Singers' administrative offices, where projects can include cataloguing music or assisting with mailings.

To inquire about volunteer opportunities, please contact Emily Kirk Weddle at (617) 868-5885 or email eweddle at cantatasingers.org.
