Peter Cote

Peter Cote was born and raised in Maine and graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Industrial Technology. He moved to the Boston area in 1990 and worked in the financial services industry as a manager in the pensions and annuities division. He was later recruited by a financial software company as a business analyst just before starting in 2003, his current career, in real estate sales and property management with Coldwell Banker in Cambridge, MA.

Peter has enjoyed a variety of leadership positions. Starting as early as high school as the president of his junior class. While in college he served as vice president of the Inter Fraternity Council, and vice president and then president, of his own fraternity, Sigma Nu. Later in the real estate business, he was vice president, and then president, of the Cambridge Community of Realtors.

He currently lives in Somerville, MA and owns investment property with his wife, Lori. He enjoys home restoration, renovations and working on creative design concepts.

Peter is involved in his local community, which includes participation in the Mystic River Water Shed Association and the Cambridge Historical Society. He is a board member to a few local charity organizations. Since 1993, he has ridden the Pan Mass Challenge (PMC), a 192 mile annual cycling event to raise millions of dollars for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute/The Jimmy Fund. He enjoys a variety of sports including mountain biking, golfing, downhill ski racing and water skiing, to name a few.
