Cantata Singers is currently looking for Fall 2017 interns.

Cantata Singers is seeking an intern to support day to day administrative operations, with a focus on development and marketing. Interns will have the opportunity to see from the inside how a small nonprofit arts organization is run, with exposure to all aspects of nonprofit management including concert production, general administration, fundraising and development, educational outreach, and finance. Tasks will include interaction with staff, board, volunteers, patrons, and artists.

The Development and Marketing Interns will assist the Development and Marketing Manager with projects focusing on the promotion of the 2016-17 Season and the Biennial Gala and Auction. Your duties will include creating social media content, assisting with email marketing and physical mailings, website maintenance, soliciting auction donations, and general administration. Interns will be required to spend the majority of their internship working with the staff in the office, but additional opportunities will include attending rehearsals and concerts to interact with staff, board, volunteers, patrons, and artists.

Qualifications:
Creativity, initiative, and strong attention to detail
Strong writing and editing skills
Demonstrated strategic and critical thinking skill
Ability to work independently
Working knowledge of the performing arts patron
Past experience with fundraising, marketing, and customer service
Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus
