Emily Kirk Weddle

Development and Public Relations Manager

Emily Kirk Weddle, Development and Public Relations Manager, joined Cantata Singers in July 2014. In her position, Emily is responsible for developing strategic plans for all programmatic marketing efforts, and managing public relations, press, fundraising events, annual appeals, grants, and donor relations.

Emily’s commitment to philanthropy in the Greater Boston community includes serving as co-chair of the Wellesley College Friends of Art Boston Committee, and supporting the Young Friends of Planned Parenthood, the Boston Center for the Arts forte Young Professionals group, and the Alzheimer’s Association.

Prior to joining Cantata Singers, Emily participated in internship programs at the Peggy Guggenheim Museum in Venice, Italy, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the Maine Maritime Museum.

Emily is currently a second-year MBA student at Questrom School of Business at Boston University. She graduated cum laude from Wellesley College in 2014 with honors in Music and Art History. She currently lives in Somerville with her boyfriend and cat, and enjoys baking, reading, and practicing yoga in her free time.
