Expanding Your Concert Experience
Join us at one of our many events designed to expand the concert experience throughout the 2011‑2012 season.
- Pre-concert lectures with our music director, David Hoose, are an engaging and informative way to learn more about the music immediately before the concert. Pre-concert lectures are free to all ticket holders and begin one hour before each Jordan Hall concert. Seating is limited and supplied on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- For an opportunity to discuss the music afterward, please join us at our post-concert receptions.
- To explore the repertoire for the November and January concerts in a more formal setting, take one of the courses offered by Chris Schroeder at Brookline Adult & Community Education or the New School of Music in Cambridge. Designed specifically to complement our season, this series of four lectures will examine significant works of Bach, Hartke, Schnittke, and Pärt. Cantata Singers subscribers receive 10% off registration fee. Currently enrolling, classes begin October 18 in Cambridge and October 19 in Brookline.
