Daniel Rosensweig

Daniel Rosensweig is a professional vocalist, pianist, voice and music teacher. In addition to Cantata Singers, he sings regularly with the Labyrinth Choir and MetroWest Choral Artists, and is tenor section leader for Stämbandet and Arlington Street Church Choir. He also teaches music composition in Boston Public Schools through the Classroom Cantatas program, and private voice lessons at his home studio in Somerville. He sings and coaches music in a variety of styles, ranging from early music to jazz, Scandinavian folk music to opera to broadway.

Daniel is most comfortable in small, flexible ensembles, and loves music that evolves in the moment. When he’s not making music, he can be found running, hiking, dancing, and climbing trees; enjoying time with his wife, Iris, and two cats, Mango and Ninja; or developing his software programming skills in Python, Swift, Java, and Javascript.
