Four
Psalms was commissioned from the Israeli Consulate of Chicago,
to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of the
State of Israel. The Chicago Symphony Orchestra gave its world
premiere performances in April 1999, with Christoph Eschenbach
conducting.
