Cantata Singers' Second Annual VOICE YOURSELF Benefit & Auction was a huge success, exceeding our fundraising goals and raising over $40,000 to support our concert recording fund and special projects. Guests wined, dined, laughed and battled for the winning bids on over eighty silent and live auction items. A few heated bidding wars broke out over a fabulous weekend getaway at David Rockefeller's chic North End condo and chef Jaylyn Olivo's sumptuous Mediterranean feast -- and we raised nearly $10,000 to support our "Classroom Cantatas" education program! To cap off the night, guests were treated to a Cantata Singers Cabaret featuring our multi-talented singers in songs from our Weill season, jazz standards and songbook classics.
