The Chamber Series concludes with music by “Les Six,” a collection of early twentieth-century French avant-garde composers. While often grouped together, the six composers, Arthur Honegger, Georges Auric, Louis Durey, Darius Milhaud, Francis Poulenc, and Germain Tailleferre, composed in vastly different musical styles from one another. Chamber Series Director Allison Voth brings together a program that highlights these differences.

Anna Winestein, art historian and Executive Director of the Ballets Russes Arts Initiative, will give a pre-concert talk, free to all ticketholders, at 6:30pm.
Following the performance, all are welcome at a free post-concert reception.
