Join us! The Chamber Series begins with music by European women composers. Beginning the program is music by women from famous German and Austrian musical families, including Clara Schumann, Alma Mahler, and Fanny Mendelssohn. The next portion of the program features music by French composers, including sisters Lili Boulanger and Nadia Boulanger, Pauline Viardot, Cécile Chaminade, and Les Six composer Germaine Tailleferre. The final portion of the evening is devoted to composers from the United Kingdom, including Elizabeth Maconchy, Rebecca Clarke, Judith Weir, Jenni Pinnock, Régine Wieniawski (Poldowski), Florence Aylward, Emily Hall, Charlotte Bray, and Thea Musgrave.

Elizabeth Seitz, professor of musicology at Boston Conservatory, will give a pre-concert talk at 6:30pm, free to all ticketholders.
Following the performance, all are invited to attend a post-concert reception.
